Cartoon Reality

I chose this comic because to me it portrays that we are living in a world where there is NO financial reform. It is a topic much discussed but little is done about it.

I agree with it. A lot of politicians promise financial reform because it is what people want. But what do they really do about it? Not a lot. At least, not enough to make a big enough difference in society today. There are still thousands of people without jobs and facing financial problems, and politicians always seem to promise to fix that. But they usually don't do anything about it. I think that that is what this cartoon is portraying that issue.

I chose this comic to show how willing we are as people to send someone else to do the job for us.

In today's world people are more than willing to send someone else to take the bullet. If we think that it might hurt us we are much more willing to make someone else do it than do it ourselves.

I chose this comic because to me it portrays our economic position.

This comic portrays to me that we are well short of our projections for our economic situation. In other words, the " recession" isnt even close to over. There are still Americans losing their jobs and their homes.

Who ares if someone is overweight? Does that mean people can beat them up and hate them?? NO. Absolutely not. What if you were overweight? Would you like getting beaten on just because of your weight? I think not. It isnt fair at all. Imagine if your children were overweight. Would you like to see him/her come home bloody and bruised because someone beat them up because of their weight?
